For our first-year anniversary I had a, undeniably romantic idea: to leave the rush of the industrial world we call home daily, for a life lived close to nature, to wake up each morning to birdsong and the smell of woodsmoke, bacon and coffee all with the love of my life. This little gem would evoke a feeling of acute nostalgia, glow, and possess some unique and magical factor, that will insight all the feelings and love you have for one another. the private cabin with the comforts you would expect from a nice hotel in a quiet, forested setting is fantastic. We enjoyed relaxing on the back deck and were able to have our black lab with us as well. Hosted by Kendra, you can tell that this cabin was built and furnished with love, care and attention, spotless clean, warm and cozy. The cabin was well equipped, and it was extremely quiet. Kendra was on point, from the booking process until our departure assured our trip would be memorable. I highly recommend booking this cabin.

The cabin was a great getaway for the weekend. It has all the things you’ll need to be comfortable, lots of extra towels, robes and the hot tub is secluded on the back patio. It has central AC and heat or a fire place if you want to cozy up by the fire. It is close enough to town to go in for dinner. Communication was great with Kendra. There is no cell signal but the WiFi works great.

Nice cabin. About the size of an efficiency apartment. The friendly host responded quickly to our request. Be aware there is no WiFi even though one review says there is. There is no T-Mobile or AT&T cell coverage. And, there is no landline. If you needed to contact 911, you would be out of luck. With 4 other cabins nearby, 2 of them had WiFi networks so you may be able to knock on doors if there was an emergency. Otherwise, it’s convenient to Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. There is road traffic that is heard but otherwise peaceful. Bed linens are comfortable. Cabin is dated but comfortable. Don’t expect to fit more than 2 people. Nice romantic getaway for young newlyweds.

Xfinity has just completed the construction of the new service line to the mountain this week and wifi at the cabin is fully functional. We regret that it was not completed prior to your stay. Cell coverage in the Great Smoky Mountains can be a wild card. My husband has AT&T and does get decent service and my Verizon phone does also work at the cabin with one or two bars. We hope to have the privilege to host you again in the future.
The cabin was great! Kendra had everything we needed provided. The cabin is secluded and about 15 minutes from town. Highly recommend stopping at the local coffee shop Gatlinburg Grind for breakfast!

A great place to stay at. Close to downtown and lots of attractions but also not to close to people. A perfect little get away.
